Fotis Talantzis Dr. Fotios Talantzis, holds a BEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering. He followed this by an MSc (Telecommunications and Signal Processing) and a PhD on Statistical Audio Signal Processing in Imperial College London.
His research allowed for a series of journals, conferences and book publications while in parallel he enriched his professional skills by working as a consultant in respectful Greek and UK companies. He operates as an Assistant Professor in Athens Information Technology and also serves as a visiting academic in Imperial College London.
He is co-founder of evneo sa, a successful company in the web 2.0 industry. He is also the ceo of novoville pc, a start-up dealing with online civic-engagement. He has interests in the areas of statistical signal processing, social-media analytics and financial signal processing. His work has found extensive applications in ambient intelligence and web 2.0 systems.
