Matthieu Schiffmann Born in Besançon (France) in 1987, Matthieu holds a BA degree in Communication studies and a MA
degree in Human Rights. He has a strong professional experience as communication expert especially in
civil society.
He mainly studied and worked in an international environment. In 2010, Matthieu volunteered in
Burkina Faso for a year where he decided to give a new perspective to his career. He was selected to be part of the Erasmus Mundus Human Rights Practice MA programme run as a joint partnership between
Gothenburg University (Sweden), Roehampton University (UK) and Tromsø University (Norway).
He is now communications manager at ThinkYoung promoting mainly entrepreneurship and education.
He is leading the communication strategy of ThinkYoung Entrepreneurship Summer School and also the
one of Fail2Succeed which is a research aiming at reducing the negative stigma surrounding
entrepreneurial failure within Europe, both socially and financially.
